Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients into the hospital, facilitate efficient check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls while providing accurate information and exceptional customer service.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate appointments while maximizing hospital efficiency and adhering to scheduling protocols.
- Obtain, review, and document client and patient information accurately within the practice management software.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative and client communication tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails, voicemails, text messages, and other client communications.
- Generate invoices, explain treatment and service fees, and process payments accurately, including cash, credit card, and financing transactions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with obtaining records from referring veterinarians, specialists, and emergency hospitals.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding appointments, hospital policies, and patient care instructions.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area, lobby, and client-facing spaces.
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and fellow receptionists to ensure efficient patient flow and hospital operations.
- Support the team by identifying needs, taking initiative, and assisting with additional responsibilities as they arise.

Qualifications:
- U.S. work authorization (Required)
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in typing at least 45 wpm
- Proficiency with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
