Summary
The Hess Agency is looking for an energetic, customer-focused professional to sell, cross-sell, and service individual and group health insurance products including Medicare. You must be a licensed health insurance agent to qualify for PENNIE and Medicare certification. It is also beneficial but is not required to be familiar with Erie and/or Applied Epic. Duties
- Conduct market research and analyze insurance products to provide clients with the best coverage options
- Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend suitable policies
- Explain policy details, terms, and conditions to clients in a clear and understandable manner
- Process insurance applications and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete
- Provide ongoing customer service to clients, including policy updates, claims assistance, and billing inquiries
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
Requirements
- Experience, preferably in health insurance sales and Medicare and Individual products preferred
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle sensitive client information confidentially
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Valid Life and Health License (Must Have)
