American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with trauma and neuro experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based IR unit in South Florida.

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
-
Cases include stroke, neuro intervention, cerebral thrombectomies and embolizations, and trauma

Canon/Toshiba equipment experience preferred
-
Epic EMR — experience required
-
5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
On-call required 2 days per week and up to 2 weekends per month

Minimum of 1 year of recent IR experience required

OR experience required
-
Trauma and neuro interventional experience required
-
ARRT (Radiographer) certification required
-
ACLS and BLS through AHA or ARC required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
FL RRT license or compact equivalent required — license required if applicable

Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment prior to starting

Successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses

Perform neuro interventional procedures including stroke intervention, cerebral thrombectomies, and embolizations, as well as trauma cases

All certifications must be current and in hand

Proof of vaccination status required — declinations are not accepted

Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a local rate

Basic Arrhythmia assessment is pass/fail; candidates who do not score 100% on the lethal rhythm section may be required to retake a dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours and must achieve an overall Angoff score of 83% or greater, 100% on the lethal rhythm section, and 83% on all other sections
