Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues within HVAC equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose malfunctions in heating and cooling systems and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct equipment repairs as needed, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in residential or commercial settings.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to plumb and refrigerate various types of HVAC equipment effectively.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
