Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated CDL Driver to join our team. This role is primarily focused on operating company vehicles, picking up and delivering parts, and supporting day-to-day shop operations. The position starts and ends from our office in Cinnaminson, NJ with typical working hours of 7-3:30. When driving work is not needed, you will be working in our shop on things like cleaning, forklift work, pressure washing, painting, or vehicle maintenance. Occasionally you may be sent to assist our mechanics in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company trucks to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are secured and handled properly
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document work performed accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL (required) with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Must be available for off hour emergency work
