Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate, and supervise retail staff to ensure high levels of customer service and sales productivity.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members to foster a skilled and engaged workforce.
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to ensure optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stockroom organization.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and cash handling with precision.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to enhance store visibility and sales growth.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to support team development and improve managerial communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations while managing operational tasks such as bookkeeping and budgeting.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS systems.
- Skilled in customer service excellence with a focus on resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and recruiting processes.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping basics, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Strong negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations.
- Ability to manage time effectively while overseeing store operations during shifts or managerial duties.
