Commercial Refrigeration / Cooking Equipment Service Technician.
Boise Appliance& Refrigeration Co. is currently seeking a service technician. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a quickly expanding service company. We specialize in service, maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventive Maintenance for Refrigeration and Ice making equipment.
- Install refrigeration and cooking equipment.
- Make repairs for all different types of kitchen equipment.
Requirements & Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude skills
- Use of basic hand tools normally expected in typical repairs.
- Must work well under pressure and maintain a safe work environment.
- Must demonstrate a cooperative behavior with co-workers, supervisors, and management in a team environment.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings and manufacturers’ literature.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, supervisors and managers.
- Must be organized and possess good time management skills.
- Refrigeration certification
- Must be willing to obtain additional licenses and certifications.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Required to work in all types of weather.
- Must have flexible schedule; early morning, evenings.
- English literacy required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass background check required.
- Current driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain driving qualifications.
- Must have transportation to and from work.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift objects up to fifty pounds.
- Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion.
Job Overview:
