Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and shrink reduction initiatives.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting with accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase sales while maintaining brand standards.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures across all store functions.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of retail math, inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and provide clear managerial guidance.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing candidates, and recruiting top talent.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and operational management is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting.
- Previous experience in grocery or pet store sales is advantageous but not required; a passion for retail sales is essential.
