Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Technician / Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring client satisfaction. This energetic position involves performing a variety of lawn and landscape maintenance tasks, utilizing hand tools and power equipment, and supporting larger construction or landscaping projects. Compensation
Pay is based on position, experience, and responsibility level:
- Mowing Crew: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Small Scape / Light Landscaping: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Hardscape Crew: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
- Fertilizer Technician (must have valid fertilizer license & driver’s license): $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
Pay will be determined based on experience, skill level, and role placement within the company.
Duties
- Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform general turf maintenance using mowers, trimmers, and other power tools
- Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, mulching, and hardscape work
- Operate equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery under supervision
- Perform tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and other landscaping tasks with precision and care
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with lawn care equipment and hand tools
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; experience with excavators or similar machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately in outdoor environments
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods; ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Willingness to learn irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques
- References required (work or professional references preferred)
