We are currently seeking a Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team and be based in our Alberta office. This role is crucial in ensuring our health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to across all USA and Canada job sites. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for safety, drive initiatives that enhance safety culture, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental , Health & Safety (EH&S), NCSO, Safety Management, Construction Management or related field OR significant experience in place of degree.
Certification from recognized certification board - Certified Safety Professional, ( CSP), Certified Safety Auditor, Certified Safety Manager or similar, OHSA 500 Certified, Site Safety Manager, and/or similar industry certificates.
In-depth technical working knowledge of OH&S, MSHA, Federal, State, and local regulatory standards
