Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our high-end prosthodontic and surgical dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, dental hygiene procedures, and advanced clinical techniques. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning.
- Capture and interpret medical imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, periodontal health, and post-treatment care to promote optimal oral health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in CurveDental ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow, including reviewing documentation and assisting with medical coding when necessary.

- Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Proven experience working in general dentistry, prosthodontics, or surgical dental practices; experience with high-end cosmetic or implant dentistry is a plus.

- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored for diverse populations including pediatrics when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
