We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. A background or certification in a Foreign Language is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset in supporting cross-curricular and culturally responsive instruction.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging ELA lessons aligned with state standards

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with English (BA) or Language Arts (BX) endorsement, AP Certified preferred

Foreign language certification or proficiency (e.g., Spanish, French) strongly preferred
