Position Summary
The Sales & Project Manager is a key leadership position responsible for managing Roof & Realm’s residential sales process while ensuring a seamless transition from the initial homeowner consultation through project completion.
This role leads and supports Sales Associates throughout the sales cycle by conducting product demonstrations, reviewing site studies, assisting with estimates, coaching sales techniques, and helping close contracts. Once a project is sold, the Sales & Project Manager oversees project planning, customer communication, scheduling, and execution to ensure every project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Roof & Realm’s quality standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with strong roofing knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage both people and projects. This individual is expected to represent the Roof & Realm brand with professionalism, confidence, and integrity in every customer interaction.
Essential ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Process Management
- Manage and oversee the entire residential sales process from lead qualification through signed contract.
- Partner with Sales Associates throughout the sales cycle to improve close rates and customer experience.
- Conduct homeowner consultations and professional product demonstrations.
- Coach, mentor, and train Sales Associates on Roof & Realm’s sales process, product knowledge, and consultative selling techniques.
- Conduct ride-alongs and field training with Sales Associates.
- Review and approve site studies to ensure accurate measurements, site conditions, and project scope.
- Understand all components of a residential site study.
- Assist with proposal preparation, pricing, estimates, and presentations.
- Help Sales Associates overcome objections and successfully close sales.
- Ensure contracts are accurate, complete, and compliant before being transferred to production.
- Monitor sales pipeline activity and CRM data to ensure timely follow-up and accountability.
- Collaborate with ownership to establish sales goals, monitor performance, and improve sales processes.
Customer Experience
- Serve as the primary customer contact from the initial consultation through final project completion.
- Build trust by providing knowledgeable, honest, and timely communication.
- Set customer expectations regarding scheduling, materials, timelines, and installation.
- Maintain regular communication throughout the project.
- Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Deliver a five-star customer experience that generates referrals and positive reviews.
Project Management
- Manage modular build projects from signed agreement through final completion.
- Coordinate permits, inspections, material deliveries, subcontractors, and installation crews.
- Schedule projects to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings when necessary.
- Perform final walkthroughs with homeowners.
- Ensure all punch list items are completed before project closeout.
Operations & Team Coordination
- Work closely with Sales Associates, production teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff.
- Verify material orders for accuracy.
- Coordinate project scheduling and logistics.
- Ensure change orders are documented and approved.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation within CRM and project management software.
- Communicate project updates with all stakeholders.
Insurance & Documentation
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters when applicable.
- Assist with insurance restoration projects.
- Track supplements and change orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation for permits, contracts, warranties, and project files.
- Ensure project records are complete before final closeout.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct project inspections before, during, and after installation.
- Ensure all work meets Roof & Realm quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Verify compliance with local building codes and safety requirements.
- Coordinate warranty work and service requests.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve quality and operational efficiency.
Leadership Expectations

QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, home improvement sales, or project management.
- Proven experience managing residential sales processes.
- Strong understanding of residential building.
- Experience conducting site inspections and site studies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience with JobNimbus, AccuLynx, Buildertrend, or similar CRM/project management software.
- OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
