Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team. The RN Float Pool will provide high-quality patient care across multiple units based on staffing needs while ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients across various hospital units.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and clinical environments.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for some units).
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in multiple specialties, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU, ICU, or ED (based on experience).
- Flexibility to float between units and work various shifts as needed.
