Whether you're preparing fresh food, helping customers at the register, or keeping our store clean and stocked, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience every day.

As a Store Associate, you'll wear many hats and enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including:

Welcome every customer with a friendly attitude and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Provide prompt, courteous service while resolving customer questions and concerns.

Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit, fuel, gift cards, and lottery purchases.

Verify identification for agerestricted purchases in accordance with all federal and state laws.

Keep shelves, coolers, bakery displays, and merchandise fully stocked and organized.

Monitor the fuel court and assist customers with fuel transactions when needed.

Prepare fresh, madetoorder food and beverages according to recipes.

Maintain stocked coffee, beverage, and food service areas throughout your shift.

Ensure all food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are consistently met.

Rotate products, check expiration dates, remove expired merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory practices.

Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store by completing daily housekeeping tasks.

Follow all company safety, security, and operational procedures.

Support your team by completing additional duties as assigned.

Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service.

Communicate effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Thrive in a fastpaced environment and can successfully multitask.

Are willing to learn and follow all Little Sue's Safety and Quality Assurance standards.

Can work flexible schedules, including overtime when needed.

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shift.

Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and lift.

Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

Safely operate equipment that reaches high temperatures while using appropriate protective equipment.

Work around cleaning products and maintain a safe work environment.

Wear slipresistant shoes at all times.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Reliable transportation is required.

High school diploma (or currently pursuing one) preferred.

Previous customer service and/or food service experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train motivated individuals!
