Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures on construction sites.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to perform precise work.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Conduct plumbing inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Use pipe threading tools and assemble piping systems with accuracy while managing heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems, remodeling projects, and mechanical layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future failures and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience with a strong background in construction plumbing.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Knowledge of local building codes, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of water systems, HVAC components, and plumbing system maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or remodeling tasks.
- Experience with carpentry or handyman work is a plus; familiarity with construction site safety protocols is essential.
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for local travel; strong basic math skills required for measurements and calculations.
