Job description
Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Who We Are:
At LumNova Behavioral Health, we imagine a world where people’s differences aren’t just accepted but celebrated—and we’re looking for a BCBA who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us make that vision a reality.
We believe in honesty (even when it’s hard), innovation (even when it’s messy), and kindness (even when we’ve had zero caffeine). If that sounds like you, keep reading. If not… well, keep reading anyway—maybe we’ll win you over.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing amazing ABA services – You’ll assess, develop, and implement behavior plans that help our clients thrive, whether that means mastering communication skills or finally tolerating a vegetable.
- Supporting and training our RBTs – You’ll guide them with expert supervision, feedback, and encouragement.
- Collaborating with families – Because progress happens when everyone’s on the same page. You’ll work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to make sure our kiddos get the best possible support.
- Embodying our values – At LumNova, we’re compassionate, collaborative, and solution-focused. We take our mission seriously—but ourselves? Not so much. We believe a little humor goes a long way (so if you have a favorite dad joke, now’s the time).
- Staying on top of data like a pro – We’re all about evidence-based interventions, so you’ll be collecting and analyzing data like a behavior-detective. (Bonus points if you get irrationally excited about graphs.)
What We’re Looking For:
- BCBA Certification – Not having this would be a deal breaker.
- Experience in field of ABA – Whether you’ve been doing this for years or you’re newly minted, we care more about your passion and skill than the length of your resume.
- A team player mentality – We don’t do lone wolves here. We support, collaborate, and have each other’s backs—always.
- Adaptability & problem-solving skills – ABA isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are our solutions. If you can think outside the box (or just throw the box away entirely), you’ll fit right in.
- Compassion, empathy, and a growth mindset – Our clients deserve the best, and that means we show up ready to learn, adjust, and do better every day.
Why We Think You’ll Love Working Here:
- Competitive salary
- Ongoing training & professional development – We want you to keep growing, and we’ll invest in making sure that happens- Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within the organization.
- A supportive, mission-driven team – We believe in working hard, laughing often, and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and the progress and wellbeing of our kids comes first.
- Work-life balance that actually exists – We know burnout helps no one. We prioritize self-care through reasonable caseloads, and flexible scheduling. We ask our full-time BCBAs to bill 32 hours a week.
- Other Stuff – We offer health insurance (we pay 50% of your premium), vision/dental insurance (we pay 75% of that premium), short/long term disability, life insurance, two weeks of paid leave following the birth or adoption of a child, a 401k, reimbursement of $1,000 in childcare expenses annually, up to two weeks of paid leave plus 11 paid holidays, bereavement leave, plus a phone and a laptop (you do have to give these back at the end though).
How We Pay:
We believe salary policies should be transparent—because fairness matters. It holds us accountable for ensuring equal pay for equal work, and it means you never have to wonder if someone else is getting a better deal just because they negotiated harder.
We also believe you should be paid for every minute you work, which is why our BCBA positions are hourly (still W2 employees though). We’re not asking you to bill 40 hours and then do 20 hours of administrative work. This set up helps ensure you’re getting paid for ALL of your time.
- Base Rate: $65 plus $3 per hour for every year of experience up to five years ($15). Additional certifications and experience also will result in a higher hourly rate.
Expected hours: 32 billable hours and up to 8 administrative
Ready to Make An Impact?
If you’re a passionate BCBA who wants to do meaningful work with people who care deeply about it, we’d love to meet you.
Apply today and let’s do something amazing—together.
