This is not a merit position. This is a position with the Kent Conservation District.
The Kent Conservation District, a governmental subdivision of the State of Delaware, is seeking applicants for the full-time
position of Staff Engineer / Plan Reviewer and will report to Dover, Delaware.
DESCRIPTION
This position will support the Sediment & Stormwater and Drainage programs of the Kent Conservation District through
plan review, and project planning, management and inspection of drainage improvement projects and assisting in various
capacities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary responsibility will be to perform regulatory review and approval of Sediment & Stormwater plans.
- Duties will also include planning, management and inspection of drainage improvement projects and assisting in
various capacities to support the Stormwater Program.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in an appropriate engineering discipline or relevant experience in stormwater design is required.
- Experience in Project management is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/Civil 3D is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Kent Conservation District does not
provide sponsorship for holders of H-1B Visas.
- Direct Deposit of paychecks is required of all new employees.
