Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage customer orders through food handling procedures, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in the workspace to uphold food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue through effective sales techniques.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and supporting sanitation protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with high-paced environments.
- Food service experience including serving, food preparation, or café operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge of POS systems is beneficial for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations.
- Experience with operating kitchen equipment and understanding food safety management practices is a plus.
- Retail or grocery store experience that involves handling transactions or customer interactions can be valuable assets.
