A well-established custom cabinet manufacturer in the Chicago area is looking for an experienced Mozaik Software Designer and CNC Programmer to join our growing team.
You'll be responsible for designing custom cabinetry from concept through production-ready output, including G-Code generation for CNC routers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a production environment and takes pride in precision craftsmanship.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design custom kitchen, bath, and built-in cabinetry using Mozaik Software
- Develop and maintain custom Mozaik component libraries
- Generate optimized CNC nesting layouts and machine-ready G-Code
- Produce shop drawings, cut lists, and detailed production documents
- Collaborate with production team on manufacturing and quality
- Configure and integrate hardware systems (Blum, Hettich) in Mozaik
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of Mozaik Software experience
- Strong knowledge of frameless (Euro-style) cabinet construction
- CNC router programming experience
- Ability to work on-site in the Chicago area
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Additional CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision)
- Hands-on cabinet building or installation experience
- Production management or shop floor supervision experience
