Responsibilities

- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies, stocking stations, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene during meal prep and service.
- Help with basic cooking duties including assembling salads, sandwiches, or other simple menu items as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
- Support catering events or special meal preparations when needed, ensuring timely and quality service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Exposure to menu planning, food preparation, or cooking in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, kitchen safety standards, and basic culinary techniques such as knife skills is beneficial.
