Position Details
- $27.50 per hour
- Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
- Weekend work rotations required
- Operate switcher trucks and day cab tractors
- Frequently maneuver 53’ dry van and reefer trailers
- Yard moves and local shuttles
Responsibilities
- Safety operate a CMV in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on truck and trailer; report any issues promptly
- Regularly conduct safety checks and seal trailers
- Monitor and set refrigerated trailer temperatures
- Complete shuttle transfers and yard moves in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
- Communicate effectively with management and customers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- CDL Class A
- 12 months recent Class A Commercial driving experience
- DOT drug test
- No failed or refused DOT drug tests
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Good MVR
- Excellent backing skills
