Jamsan Hotel Management is seeking an experienced, energetic, and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the opening of our brand-new WoodSpring Suites in Southington, CT, scheduled to open in October/November 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to build a hotel from the ground up—recruiting and developing an exceptional team, establishing operational excellence, driving sales, and creating a culture focused on guest satisfaction and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all pre-opening and opening activities.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop the hotel's entire team.
- Create a positive, service-focused culture built on accountability and teamwork.
- Oversee hotel operations, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Guest Services.
- Develop local business relationships and execute a sales strategy to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure brand standards, safety standards, and company policies are consistently met.
- Manage hotel budgets, payroll, expenses, and profitability.
- Deliver outstanding guest satisfaction and strong online reputation scores.
- Prepare the hotel for successful brand inspections and operational audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a branded hotel.
- Pre-opening or extended-stay hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Proven success in revenue management, sales, and financial performance.
- Experience with hotel PMS systems and hotel operating procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $64,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
