CLASSIFICATION PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Business Operations Administrative Specialist classification is to support division-specific documentation, processing, and administrative functions by assisting with the fulfillment of operational workflows, facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders, and providing administrative support to division staff and leadership.
JOB DUTIES:
Receive, draft, and post requests for Service by Publication notices. Assist the Courts and external stakeholders with issues related to Service by Publication. Complete daily review of posted publications lists, and timely preparation, efiling, and docketing of Service by Publication proofs. E-filing and/or docketing of Service by Publication requests. Efiling and/or docketing of Service by Publication proofs. Oversee assigned work queues and complete all tasks timely.
Partners with other Legal Operations staff on the routine creation and maintenance of workflows and training materials. Participates in special projects and assignments, as directed. Provides administrative support to Service by Publication staff as needed. Provides recommendations to business analysts and senior management on best practices to enhance Service by Publication operations. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
Associate degree in business or related field with one (1) year of customer service or public relations experience, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Additional Requirements
Must maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None required.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is an unclassified position that serves at the pleasure of the Clerk of Courts. May be required to travel.
