Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to cook for the child care and oversee daily kitchen operations. This pivotal role combines cooking with strong management skills to ensure exceptional food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the kitchen duties such as cooking, cleaning and shopping for the child care center.
Duties
- Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards.
Skills
- experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with a fast paced environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, food safety practices, and food industry regulations.
- Some child care experience recommended but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
