Gig Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a School Bus Nurse assignment in Newfane, NY for the 2026–2027 school year.
$40/hour | 30 hours/week | Monday–Friday | No Weekends
This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for a consistent school nursing schedule and a long-term assignment through the end of the school year.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Location: Newfane, NY
- Start Date: September 8, 2026
- End Date: June 25, 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: AM and PM school bus runs, approximately 30 hours/week
- Pay: $40/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing support to a student during transportation to and from school. The School Bus Nurse will ride with the student during the morning and afternoon bus routes and provide appropriate nursing care and intervention as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Concussion Training Certificate
- Previous school nursing, pediatric, or 1:1 nursing experience is a plus
