Keiki Kicks is looking for a Soccer Coach to coach classes for keiki ages 1 to 8 years old. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to motivate our players, help them hone their skills, and work with parents. We prefer candidates with experience playing the sport and some coaching experience, but your enthusiasm and work ethic is the most essential qualification for this coaching position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a safe and fun environment for the children
- Lead classes following Keiki Kicks curriculum
- Communicate with players and parents
- Teach the young athletes the fundamentals of the sport
- Learn and follow ALL Keiki Kicks rules, policies, and procedures
- Encourage all children to play
- Attend all trainings, meetings and classes
- Assume responsibility for equipment that has been provided by Keiki Kicks
- Keep open communication with Program Director
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a soccer player and/or coaching is preferred
- Experience working with young children is preferred
- Leadership and communication skills
- Pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Be enthusiastic
- Must be patient, especially with children
- Be organized
- Be dependable
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
