About the Role
CFM Associates Inc. is hiring a Senior Service Technician to tackle higher-complexity repairs and small projects for commercial clients. This is not an entry level job; we are looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience. You’ll lead or work independently on completing work orders drywall/finishing, interior & exterior repairs, painting, demolition, doors, windows. You’ll be trusted to set pace and quality on site. Role requires travel with company vehicles. Travel is paid!
What You’ll Do
Execute carpentry tasks: framing, doors/frames/hardware, trim, blocking, repairs.
Perform drywall install/patch/finish/skim/paint
Complete interior painting: cut/roll, primers, coatings, caulking, and touch-ups to spec.
Read scopes, sketches, and basic plans; verify measurements and materials.
Lead small jobs or work independently; direct helpers/techs when assigned.
Protect work areas; maintain site cleanliness and safety compliance.
Document work (photos, notes) and close out work orders in a timely manner.
Interface professionally with clients and the CFM office team.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall/finishing, and painting (commercial preferred).
Strong finish quality standards; ability to match existing conditions.
Comfortable working solo or leading a small crew.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving; dependable and organized.
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation; ability to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders/lifts.
Willingness to travel within NJ/NY/PA.
Preferred Qualifications
Door/frames/hardware experience (HM/wood), minor concrete patching, ceiling grid/tile fixes.
Basic familiarity coordinating with other trades (electrical/plumbing/HVAC).

Pay & Benefits
Pay: Competitive and based on experience. $28/hr.+ depending on experience.
