Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Aesthetic Nurse to join our cosmetic MedSpa team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recently graduated LPN. The ideal candidate will assist with non-invasive cosmetic procedures, patient assessments, and post-treatment care, contributing to a positive patient experience in a professional and supportive environment. Prior experience in medical settings such as dermatology, esthetic laser treatments, or medical office environments is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with aesthetic procedures including body contouring, and esthetic laser treatments under supervision.
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and skin evaluations.
- Prepare treatment areas following aseptic techniques and ensure all equipment is sterile and properly maintained.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, potential side effects, and answer questions regarding aesthetic procedures.
- Document all procedures accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Support physicians during procedures by managing supplies and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Assist in inventory management of medical supplies and esthetic equipment.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with the latest aesthetic techniques and safety standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in medical office settings or esthetic laser treatments is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic patient assessment skills are advantageous.
- Experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth or Cerner is beneficial.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with disabilities or special healthcare needs, is valued.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR is preferred but can be obtained upon hire. Pay: $29.70 - $35.76 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
