Digital Content Manager
Location: White City, OR : On-site
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000 DOE
About the Role:
We're looking for a Digital Content Manager to lead two content teams — our YouTube content team and our Website Content team — while also helping shape the strategy behind what content we create and why.
This is a working manager role. You'll spend part of your time managing people: running check-ins, clearing roadblocks, and keeping teams on schedule. You'll spend the other part thinking strategically — researching new content opportunities, staying on top of digital content trends, and helping connect content decisions to real business impact. You'll report directly to the CMO and play an active role in shaping how content supports company goals.
We're looking for someone with real hands-on experience creating content for a business — not necessarily as a videographer or copywriter, but someone who understands what it takes to plan, produce, and ship content on a deadline. Equally important: someone who is a strong, proven people manager.
What You'll Oversee:
YouTube Team
- Manage workflow and keep the team on track to hit the weekly upload deadline
-
Help guide content strategy and identify new video content opportunities (in partnership with upper management)
-
Will help hire an additional team members as the team grows
Website Content Team
- Oversee writing and updating of product descriptions
-
Ensure website information stays accurate and current
-
Oversee product photography workflow
-
Oversee product listings on Amazon marketplace
-
Will help hire an additional team members as the team grows
Potential Future Scope: Social Media
-
Possible oversight of a social media role responsible for reading and responding to customer comments and flagging feedback to relevant internal departments
What You'll Actually Be Doing Day to Day
-
Meeting regularly with both teams to discuss roadblocks, strategy, and timelines
-
Researching new opportunities for where and what content to create
-
Keeping both teams accountable to deadlines, especially the weekly YouTube upload
-
Coaching and developing team members, including someone newer to the role
-
Reviewing content output for quality, consistency, and business alignment
-
Reporting to and aligning closely with the CMO on content direction and priorities
-
Supporting hiring decisions as the teams grow
Required:
-
Solid, proven experience managing people — multiple years leading a team, not just a project
-
Working experience creating content for a business (video, web, marketing, or similar)
-
Comfortable working under and consistently meeting deadlines
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate people across different roles
-
A genuine desire to learn more about digital content and how it impacts business results
-
Comfortable being a "working manager" — actively researching and proposing new content opportunities, not just overseeing execution
Nice to Have:
-
Some knowledge of digital marketing
-
Experience with social media management or customer engagement
-
Background in e-commerce, retail, or consumer products
