Overview
We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Liquidation Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling liquidation outlet. In this role, you will drive sales, manage a motivated team, and ensure smooth store functions while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer interactions.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Conduct scheduled store audits and inventory counts to maintain accurate records, maximize sales, and minimize losses.
- Foster a positive shopping environment by delivering exceptional customer service, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring staff are well-trained in phone etiquette and customer engagement.
- Utilize management skills to oversee shift schedules, budgeting, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Drive marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales volume.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations related to retail operations.
Qualifications
- Management experience in retail sales or store supervision. Experience with liquidation or similar environments is preferred.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and develop talent.
- Excellent communication skills. (bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable)
- Experience in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, record keeping, and payroll processes.
- Skilled in interviewing candidates and performance conversations when necessary.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including marketing strategies to enhance store visibility.
- Organizational skills that ensure efficient stock control, inventory audits, and store maintenance.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
