Job Summary:
The Supervisor of Client Services is a member of the Oradell Animal Hospital Health Care Team who will work closely with the Client Services Manager and Client Services team to help facilitate daily operations while maintaining a high quality of client service and fostering an atmosphere of teamwork. This position requires customer service knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task. This person will be expected to communicate consistently and constructively with the managers, supervisors, fellow CSR’s clients and doctors. The client services supervisor must have a working knowledge of all areas of the department including: greeting, phones, filling, cashiering, surgery office and medical records. The client services supervisor must be able to assume the duties of any client services position whenever necessary.
Qualifications:
· Skills and knowledge
· Strong interest in customer service required
· Must have prior supervisory experience or have shown some capacity to perform in a leadership role
· Must be articulate and able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and clients
· Must acquire a working knowledge of all areas of the hospital
· Is expected to attend continuing education sessions in client services and management
· Flexible hours, including but not limited to weekends (eve/overnight) and Holidays
Schedule & Hours: Full-time
Pay Status: Ranges from $30-$34 Hourly
· Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Key Responsibilities
· Supervise client service representatives including accountability for high quality performance
· Inform manager of any positive or negative concerns about employee performance, training, shift needs, etc.
· Be able to carry out the disciplinary process, if necessary
· Maintain a professional environment with client services representatives at all times
· Ensure effective communication between client service representative and veterinary staff
· Responsible for upholding the hospital’s mission statement/codes of conduct and supporting the decisions of the Client Services Manager
· Provide input to the Client Services Manager regarding employee interviews, hiring, and performance evaluations
· Responsible for staff scheduling and be aware of hospital policies to ensure shift is running smoothly
· Responsible for staff training and accountability regarding all client services personnel under the direction of the Client Services Manager
· Ensure that the client services staff meets the standards of appearance, communication, conduct and service for the department and hospital
· Organize and conduct staff meetings, when asked
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Completeion of Drug and background checks are required
