Establish governance, standards, and performance mechanisms that balance regional consistency with country and site requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute short- to medium-term procurement, supply, category, and supplier strategies across South America, aligned with business plans, financial objectives, operational requirements, and global Procurement standards.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply, market, supplier, commercial, geopolitical, and operational risks through market intelligence, scenario analysis, contingency planning, supplier diversification, and cross-functional action plans.
- Own procurement governance and process standardization across the regional scope, ensuring compliant execution, reliable data, effective controls, and continuous improvement of systems, tools, and performance reporting.
- Accountable for the departmental operating budget, savings and value-delivery commitments, resource allocation, forecasts, and expenditure controls. Recommend and implement corrective actions when performance deviates from plan.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and management routines covering spend, savings, purchase volume, supplier performance, contract compliance, delivery lead time, inventory, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals. Set objectives and priorities, manage performance, strengthen functional capability, support succession planning, and create an inclusive, accountable, high-performance environment.
- Represent the regional supply/procurement area in cross-functional initiatives and contribute functional expertise to broader business planning, transformation, integration, and productivity programs.
