Position Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Support Technician to support semiconductor device testing and qualification activities. The technician will screen devices on ATE and bench setups, support reliability testing, assist with device characterization, and manage sample logistics and qualification tracking between the factory, engineering team, and reliability labs. This role works closely with the engineering team and follows client-provided test instructions and setups.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree (minimum).
- 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor ATE testing support.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities
1. Device Screening on ATE / Bench Setups
- Perform visual inspection on the units.
- Set up ATE testers using the corresponding hardware.
- Test devices using the ATE test program.
- Document test results and jobs completed, where applicable
2. Reliability Setup & Testing
- Program HTOL and HAST boards with the provided bias conditions.
3. Sample Logistics & Qualification Tracking
- Submit forms and ship samples between the factory, engineering team, and reliability labs.
- Maintain a dashboard of qualification status and results.
4. Device Characterization Support
- Run the characterization program on ATE across temperature and collect data.
- Document results in the requested format for PPAP (AEC-Q100).
Work Hours & Overtime
- Standard schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Overtime requests must be submitted to and approved by the client on a need basis.
Tools, Materials & Support
- All test tools, test hardware, and materials required to test units will be provided by the client.
- Test instructions and test setup support, where necessary, will also be provided by the client.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
