Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across residential or commercial settings. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Manage janitorial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to uphold sanitary conditions
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary by cleaning patios, walkways, or outdoor furniture to enhance curb appeal
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by responding politely to residents’ or guests’ requests and ensuring their comfort is prioritized
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or janitorial experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and outdoor maintenance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and manual labor
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and custodial responsibilities is preferred
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising teams is a plus
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sanitation and cleaning procedures
