As a growing agency, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, conduct client assessments, oversee nurse delegation, and support the development of our clinical programs.

Compensation
Per-Visit Compensation
- Initial In-Home Assessment: $100 per visit
- Follow-Up/Reassessment Visit: $85 per visit
This position begins as a flexible per-visit contract opportunity and is expected to grow as client census expands.
Position Summary
The RN Supervisor serves as the agency's clinical leader and case-managing Registered Nurse. This role is responsible for conducting client assessments, developing care plans, supervising delegated nursing tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting caregiver competency and quality of care.
The RN Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining clinical excellence and ensuring compliance with Maryland Residential Service Agency regulations and nurse delegation requirements.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Care Management
- Conduct initial in-home client assessments and ongoing reassessments.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
- Monitor client conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, hospice agencies, home health providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Nurse Delegation & Staff Supervision
- Delegate nursing tasks in accordance with Maryland regulations.
- Assess and document caregiver competency prior to delegation.
- Provide instruction, coaching, and ongoing supervision of caregivers.
- Conduct required supervisory visits in client homes.
- Serve as a clinical resource for caregivers and agency staff.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to address performance concerns and support staff development.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Help maintain compliance with Maryland Residential Service Agency regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement, incident review, and infection-control activities.
- Assist with policy development and clinical process improvement.
- Support agency readiness for state surveys and audits.
Staff Development
- Participate in caregiver orientation and skills validation.
- Assist with ongoing training and competency evaluations.
- Support the development of scalable clinical systems and procedures as the agency grows.
QualificationsRequired
- Current, active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license with privilege to practice in Maryland.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to client homes throughout the Maryland/DC/Virginia service area.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Home care, home health, hospice, geriatrics, assisted living, or community-based nursing experience.
- Experience with nurse delegation and caregiver supervision.
- Previous RN Case Manager or RN Supervisor experience.
- Familiarity with electronic health records, EVV, or home care software systems.
