American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a 12-week travel assignment requiring PALS certification and an OH or compact RN license in hand
-
Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a Magnet-designated hospital
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Float required to a secondary campus location in addition to the main campus
-
All travelers may be required to float to competent units
-
Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
-
Active RN license (OH state or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration, no exceptions

BSN required for consideration at this Magnet facility
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
-
2 years of overall RN experience required
-
Skills in respiratory care, ventilated patient care, infection control/PPE, and wound assessment/care

Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU

Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate

Prior facility employees may be considered for return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
