The IT Procurement Analyst supports sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of IT hardware, software, and services. This role works closely with IT, Finance, and vendors to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely procurement while maintaining accurate records and supporting contract and spend analysis.
- Support end‑to‑end IT procurement activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, renewals, and vendor onboarding
- Assist in sourcing IT hardware, software, cloud services, and professional services in alignment with company policies
- Analyze IT spend, assist in tracking budgets, and support cost‑optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely fulfillment
- Support contract administration, including license tracking, renewals, and compliance
- Maintain procurement documentation, pricing records, and vendor catalogs
- Assist with vendor performance reviews and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements
- Generate procurement reports and dashboards for management review
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
Preferred Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in IT procurement, sourcing, or supply chain functions
- Working knowledge of IT products and services (hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, licensing models)
- Experience with procurement systems (ERP, e‑procurement tools, or contract management systems)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, Finance, and vendors
- Strong communication and negotiation support skills
Experience supporting software licensing and renewals (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, SaaS providers)
Exposure to vendor contract terms and pricing structures
