Elementary Pod Co-Teacher
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Treehouse Learning Pod is a Montessori-inspired alternative education program focused on academics and connection to nature. The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, positive, ethical, and student-centered.
Duties
- Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as language arts, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student support strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates
- Incorporate early childhood development insights to promote social-emotional growth
- Daily yard supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Early Childhood Education units
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for mentoring students and fostering a love of learning
- Pass a background check

Pay: $34.00 per hour
