About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Glendive, MT. This role supports residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting by helping them improve independence, daily function, strength, safety, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy focused on ADLs, mobility, coordination, and functional independence
Support residents in improving daily living skills and adapting to limitations
Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches as appropriate
Educate residents, families, and care teams on therapy goals and safe techniques
Maintain accurate therapy documentation
Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Active Montana Occupational Therapist license required
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience required
Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience preferred
Ability to work day shifts
Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
