About us
We are a busy, team-oriented salon looking for a reliable, positive, and organized Salon Assistant to help keep our salon running smoothly throughout the summer. This position is approximately 10–12 hours per week and is ideal for a student, or anyone who enjoys creating order, staying busy, and supporting a hardworking team. There may be an opportunity to continue with us beyond the summer for the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients warmly and set them up for their services.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment
- Support our stylists and salon team with daily operational tasks
- Complete salon laundry, prepare foils, clean brushes, and wash color bowls
- Sweep, tidy, and restock salon throughout the day
- Assist with inventory organization, unpacking and putting away orders
- Keep common areas neat, stocked, and client-ready
- Answer phones and assist with basic salon tasks as needed
- Help ensure the salon is always looking its best for clients and team members
