Overview
To cooperate in providing a warm and nurturing quality early childhood education environment where each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually.
Job responsibilities will be discussed during an interview.
Qualifications include:
- State of Michigan licensing requirements - 400.8101, 400.8125, 400.8128 and 400.8131.
- An Associate degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co workers and families.
- Knowledge of children's physical, emotional and developmental patterns
- Ability to create an atmosphere of positive and appropriate guidance
- Evidence of emotional maturity and stability
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Cooperation with other staff members, helping to create a positive team atmosphere
- Evidence of sufficient judgement to handle crisis situations.
