Secured Network Solutions, Inc., a leading voice and data company, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of an experienced Stuctured Cabling Technician . The preferred candidate should have some experience in the structured cabling industry.
In addition, to be considered for employment, the following requirements must be met:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred);
- Pass pre-employment drug screening (required);
- Pass pre-employment background check for base access passes (required);
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required);
- Have reliable transportation for getting to various job sites (required);
- 2 years of experience in the cabling industry (required);
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
- Overtime opportunities
- Night shifts may be required based on business needs
- Weekend work is sometimes required
Experience:
- Cabling/Construction Industry: 2 years (REQUIRED);
- Experience across all comms cabling types (copper, fiber, coaxial) (required);
- Experience in ISP and OSP (required);
- BICSI certification (preferred).

Responsibilities:
- Cabling Installation: Lead the installation of cabling systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and project timelines.
- General Labor Duties: Perform a variety of tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Blueprint and Documentation: Label blueprints, maintain accurate As-Builts, and assist with IT room build-outs and IDC terminations. Assist with the installation of cabling systems in commercial settings.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Possibly drive company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to traffic laws while on the job.
- Lift items over 50 lbs, work off ladders, lifts, and aerial platforms, and work in confined spaces.
- Discern colors for tasks such as cable color coding.
