Residential Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Coordinator
Pay: From $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with alternating emergency on-call rotation

Industry: Residential Property Management / Maintenance Operations10 Stars Property Management is hiring a Residential Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Coordinator to support our growing maintenance department. This is an office-based leadership role for someone with strong hands-on experience in residential maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, handyman work, and general home repairs.This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who understands how repairs should be completed in the field and can help guide technicians, review work orders, prepare estimates, verify repair scopes, and ensure jobs are completed correctly and efficiently but not be physically involved at all from the comfort of an office desk. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to field technicians
- Review maintenance requests, work orders, photos, notes, and invoices
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and general repair issues
- Prepare repair estimates and review labor/material costs
- Confirm repair scopes are accurate and complete
- Monitor job progress and help prevent return trips
- Communicate with owners when repairs exceed approval limits
- Review daily reports and technician documentation
- Support scheduling and emergency maintenance coordination as needed
- Help improve maintenance procedures, quality control, and organization
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential maintenance, handyman, construction, or property repair experience
- Strong electrical and plumbing repair knowledge
- Experience diagnosing repairs and preparing estimates
- Ability to guide or supervise maintenance technicians
- Strong understanding of labor, materials, timelines, and job costs
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computers, email, mobile apps, and maintenance software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Property management maintenance experience
- Experience as a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Handyman Supervisor
- Experience with vacant home turns, rent-ready repairs, and occupied rental maintenance
- Experience reviewing technician performance and job quality
