Our team is dedicated to excellence in aviation maintenance, and we’re seeking a skilled Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our growing team.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on a variety of aircraft models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of airframe and powerplant systems.
- Conduct hour, annual, and progressive inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Perform component overhauls, installations, and modifications as required.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members, including pilots, maintenance managers, and parts personnel, to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay current with industry advancements, manufacturer service bulletins, and technical publications.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in helicopter maintenance preferred (experience in Bell, Airbus, or Robinson helicopters a plus).
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, precision measuring equipment, and maintenance software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience with avionics troubleshooting and repair is a plus.
**Physical Requirements: **
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and working at heights.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
