Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver needed in Newville (Carlise) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting up to 150lbs, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency on the road. We operate 7 days per week. Health, Dental, 401 K after 60 days. Parttime and weekend shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Delivery driving experience a plus
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a clean and valid drivers license
- Pass a DOT Physical ( including drug test).
- Take and pass a criminal background check
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Knowledge of route smart and local area navigation will be beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
