La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa Rosa Sonoma is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Guest Service Representatives, also known as our Guest Experience Makers!
As a Guest Experience Maker, you will play a vital role in the daily operations and overall success of our hotel. Your primary responsibility is to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming experience from the moment they make a reservation until they check out. We strive to exceed expectations by providing exceptional hospitality and going the extra mile to make every stay memorable.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
- Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address guest questions or concerns, seeking management assistance when necessary.
- Become knowledgeable about local attractions and amenities, including restaurants, shopping, gas stations, banks/ATMs, post offices, and other points of interest.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel amenities and guest room features, including Wi-Fi access, phone systems, thermostats, and other in-room technologies.
- Promote the value of our hotel by assisting guests with reservations and maximizing room sales through phone inquiries and in-person interactions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and follow hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn multiple hotel software systems.
- Cash handling experience (preferred).
- A polished, professional appearance.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A clear speaking voice and fluency in English.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A willingness to learn, complete required training, and contribute to a positive team culture.
