Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician – Warehouse/Plant (Rock City, IL)
Join our team as a Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Technician at Rock City, IL. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional warehouse and office environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, follows cleaning procedures, and understands the importance of quality and consistency.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday. 8:30 am- 2:30 pm
- Approximately 6-hour shifts
Job Duties:
- Clean offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces
- Perform sanitation procedures in high-touch areas
- Empty trash and restock restroom and break room supplies
- Operate an automatic floor scrubber to maintain warehouse floors
- Perform basic floor care tasks including mopping and machine cleaning
- Follow cleaning checklists, safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a warm warehouse/plant environment
- Able to stand and walk for the duration of a 6-hour shift
- Able to bend, lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment safely
- Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, or carpet equipment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Takes pride in providing high-quality cleaning results
