Job Details:
We are looking for passionate and safe drivers to become training mentors for our trainee drivers. Help develop the next generation of CDL A drivers while gaining financially.
Top trainers can earn up to $120,000 a year
Trainers are compensated for both their miles and their student’s miles
Additional pay for having a student on the truck
Background check required under 49 CFR Part 391. Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license
6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years
No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests
Additional Trainer Qualifications:
Minimum of 30 days with Knight
Must have at least 60,000 Miles solo & 1 winter season driving OTR
Must be willing to run a minimum of 2 weeks at a time
No more than 1 moving violation in the last year
No more than 1 preventable Incident/Accident in last year
