Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join the US Traffic Control HR team in Athens, GA. This position has a strong focus on recruiting, candidate experience, and onboarding while supporting day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys building relationships with candidates and employees. This is a full-time, fully onsite position at US Traffic Control in Athens, Georgia. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide an excellent candidate experience.
- Assist with hiring events, career fairs, and recruiting initiatives.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, background screenings, and new hire paperwork.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Support benefits administration and HR reporting.
- Occasional travel to other company locations and job fairs may be required.
Requirements:
- Strong recruiting coordination and onboarding experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred.
- Ability to work fully onsite.
- High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced organization required.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration preferred.
- Paylocity experience preferred.
- Prolonged sitting and computer work.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Occasional travel for job fairs and recruiting events.
